HEADSHOTS
Now that every business has a webpage, and social media are becoming more important in both personal and working life, a good profile picture is ever more important.
Don't be shy about showing your face – others are less likely to click on your LinkedIn profile, whilst you will be missing an opportunity to humanise the way that your business is perceived in today's online world.
“Malcolm took quite a few shots for my new business across the hour we were together and it was hard to pick three - we've gone with these and I think they're brill.”
- Marsha Ramroop
Even if you don't use Twitter, Facebook or other social media, remember that you may need an image to go alongside that article you wrote or for the bio page of the conference you're speaking at.
"I enjoyed seeing some of the immediate results on Malcolm's camera and then working out what I thought worked well ... that feedback through the course of the shoot really helped. Malcolm is very knowledgeable about photography and what will work (positioning, lighting etc), but is also able to explain it simply to someone that doesn't know their iso from their aperture!"
- Oliver Meek
If you already have a headshot, well done! Do think though about how long ago was it taken? Make sure that your current headshot reflects how you look today!
“Malcolm bought his mobile studio to my house and did all the photography there, he listened to what I wanted and made his own suggestions as well. It was all carried out in a relaxed and friendly manner ... if you are looking for business style headshots, then I highly recommend Malcolm the Photographer.”
- David Kinsey
